This page outlines how our rental service works, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you as a renter.
Our goal is to provide a reliable, transparent experience for competitive Magic: The Gathering players across Canada.
1. How Rentals Work
Choose your deck
Browse our Modern-format deck library and choose the deck and rental duration that suits your timeline or event.
Pay at checkout
All rentals must be paid in full when you check out. This confirms your reservation.
Shipping
We ship Canada-wide only.
Your rental includes:
• tracked shipping to your address
• a prepaid return shipping label
• clear return instructions
Once shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.
2. Rental Duration
Your rental period begins on the date shown at checkout and ends on the final day of your booking.
Returning the deck
Your return package must be scanned by the carrier (Canada Post or courier) on or before your final rental day.
If you need more time, please contact us before the due date—extensions may be available depending on inventory.
3. Security Hold
A refundable security hold may be placed on your payment method. This is not a charge. The hold is released once the deck is returned and passes inspection.
You will be contacted if we identify missing or damaged cards.
4. Deck Condition & Card Standards
We rent tournament-legal, sleeve-safe, stamped Modern decks.
What “stamped” means
All cards are permanently stamped with the NetDeck Rentals authenticity mark.
This prevents resale/trade-ins and ensures inventory integrity.
Card condition
Cards may show normal play wear.
All rental cards must remain:
• readable
• flat
• sleeve-safe
• not marked or identifiable
• tournament-legal
If a card arrives in a condition that concerns you, let us know within 24 hours.
5. Damage, Loss, or Missing Cards
We do not charge for normal sleeve wear.
We may charge the current market replacement cost for:
• missing cards
• cards returned damaged (creased, water damage, torn, marked, bent, etc.)
• sleeves or deck boxes returned destroyed or unusable
We always assess fairly and communicate clearly before any charge is finalized.
6. Late Returns
If a deck is not scanned by the carrier by the due date:
1 day late
We will email you a reminder.
3 days late
The security hold may be extended.
5 days late
The full replacement cost of the deck may be charged.
We understand life is unpredictable—if you’re having an issue returning your deck, just communicate with us.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Before shipping
Cancellations made before the deck ships are eligible for a refund.
After shipping
Once a deck has shipped, the rental becomes active and is non-refundable.
8. What You Can Do With a Rental Deck
You may:
• use the deck in tournaments, events, and personal play
• test and practice as much as you like
• re-sleeve your deck during the rental period if you prefer (just return our sleeves too)
You may not:
• sell or trade the cards
• alter, mark, or remove stamps
• intentionally damage or modify cards
• use proxies to replace missing cards upon return
9. Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your NetDeck Rentals account secure.
If you believe someone accessed your account without permission, please contact us immediately.
10. Communication & Notifications
By renting from us, you agree to receive the following emails:
• order confirmation
• payment confirmation
• shipping confirmation + tracking
• return reminder
• check-in confirmation after return
• security hold release (if applicable)
We only send operational emails—no spam.
